"Rules" Series Goes to ChurchOur series on "The Rules" continues on Thursday, June 18 with David Hare's "Racing Demon" (1990), about four Anglican priests struggling to make sense of their mission in south London. A "fascinating, engaging play" (Gannett Newspapers) that "exemplifies the theater of ideas" (Time Magazine), "Racing Demon" won the 1996 Tony Award for Best Play. Our discussion will feature Jim Petosa, artistic director of the Olney Theatre, where "Racing Demon" opened April 28; & Reverend Elizabeth Orens, senior chaplain at the National Cathedral School. We will meet at North China Restaurant, 7814 Old Georgetown Rd. at Cordell Ave., 4 blocks N of the Bethesda Metro. The restaurant has valet parking for $2 &several inexpensive garages nearby.
